Paula Radke gave me private glass lessons!!!!

When I was on vacation, playing in the ocean wasn't the only thing I did!
Paula Radke, the finest dichroic glass artist in the U.S. gave me a private lesson on how to make Dichroic glass pendants! She has a store in Morro Bay, CA (where I was vacationing). I asked her if she knew of any store that gave lessons on how to make dichroic glass pendants and beads, and she graciously offered to spend a couple of hours with me in her studio.
She showed me all around her studio and warehouse. I got to see where she packages all of her inventory to ship to the Michaels stores, and where she makes her beads.
Spending a couple of hours with her was AMAZING!!! She is so inspiring, and I would love to be a great artist just like her someday!!!
After the lesson was over, she showed us her backyard beach of glass!!! WOW! When you walk out, you don't want to go out there barefoot!!! There are super-fine pieces of glass EVERYWHERE from years of grinding glass for art projects. She let us pick out a box full of glass so that I can come home and start experimenting! I'm hoping to make my own pendants to include in my jewelry line and sell on ETSY.
Here are some pics of my awesome time with Paula Radke!!!
Thank you Paula Soooooo much!!!
